Workplace politics? Yeah, it's like sewage – when channeled right, you don't even notice the mess. But mess it up, and it's a stinky situation. 

That's why we need clear rules to keep office politics in check. Because let's face it, everyone's just waiting for you to slip up.

Here's a nugget of wisdom for you: You can't control other people, only yourself. 

So, here are a few pearls of wisdom to make your work life a little smoother:

1. Live and Let Live: Focus on your tasks and responsibilities. Don't get caught up in other people's drama or projects that have nothing to do with you.

2. Rectify and Move On: We're all human, and we all make mistakes. The key is to own up to them, fix what you can, and then move forward. Dwelling on the past won't get you anywhere.
